Synopsis
Gabriel Syme, a poet and undercover detective for a special philosophical branch of New Scotland Yard, enters the eccentric bohemian world of Saffron Park in London. After a fierce debate on poetry, order, and chaos with fiery anarchist poet Lucian Gregory, Syme pulls off an audacious bluff: he infiltrates the dreaded Central Anarchist Council, a shadowy syndicate whose leaders are named after the days of the week. Taking the vacant seat of "Thursday," Syme plunges into a perilous mission to thwart an impending wave of catastrophic terror orchestrated by the enigmatic, titanic President Sunday. Yet as he navigates a surreal labyrinth of masked meetings, bizarre duels, and elusive allies, nothing in this feverish London underworld is quite what it appears. Packed with wit, paradox, and dreamlike suspense, this metaphysical adventure challenges the boundaries between sanity and nightmare.
