Synopsis
In the bleak marshes of rural England, young orphan Pip lives a humble life with his gentle blacksmith brother-in-law, Joe Gargery, and his harsh sister. His quiet world shatters on a misty afternoon when an escaped convict seizes him in a graveyard, forcing the terrified boy into a dangerous secret. Soon after, Pip is summoned to Satis House, the decaying mansion of the eccentric recluse Miss Havisham, where time stands perpetually still. There, he falls hopelessly under the spell of Estella, Havisham's beautiful yet cold-hearted ward. Yearning to transcend his modest station and win Estella's affection, Pip receives an astonishing turn of fortune: a mysterious, unnamed benefactor grants him immense wealth to become a gentleman in London. Plunged into a world of ambition, deception, and haunting desires, Pip must navigate high society while discovering the hidden cost of his grand ambitions.
